Now in it's ninth year, the CSSV Mission Inspired Leadership Program 2024 has been an opportunity for leaders across our sector to be encouraged and invigorated in their work as we collectively seek to enact the gospel within social service settings.
Why do we have Catholic social services? How do we stay true to purpose in the way that we operate, offer services and consider our place in the world? How do we apply Catholic Social Teachings to our contemporary context? These are questions at the heart of the purpose of the CSSV Catholic Ethos and Identity Committee.
Offered again in 2024, Catholic Social Services Victoria has designed a four-part learning experience to equip seasoned and emerging leaders as well as expert practitioners with the conceptual tools and approaches they need to deliver social impact and thrive sustainably for the common good.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Fr Kevin Mogg AM pe has died. Fr Kevin Mogg AM had spent over five decades as a leader in Catholic Social Services. He was an inspiring parish leader for over six decades, an educator, and a prison and youth justice chaplain. For 24 years he also served on the Board of CatholicCare where he continued to serve as Emeritus Board member.
