Training and Facilitation Skills Workshop 

We are really pleased to be hosting an upcoming professional development opportunity for mission leaders and group facilitators.

This workshop has received great feedback and we hope it will be helpful to staff and volunteers in your organisation and networks. Checking for Understanding’s engaging program, led by Pip McIlroy, is designed to be inclusive, catering to formators from all adult learning contexts within the Catholic community as well as those that lead other training and facilitated learning experiences. Whether you’re a newcomer to leading adult learning or an experienced formator looking to challenge your own skills and practice, this event is for you. We believe that the diversity of our participants will enrich the learning experience for everyone.

The program will cover aspects of facilitation and training including:

· Structuring your session to meet your aims

· Engaging your group

· Modes of content delivery

· Giving and receiving feedback
