CSSV, in conjunction with the rest of the Catholic Social Services network, extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and other colleagues of Michael Coffey.
Michael, as Executive Officer of Catholic Social Services NSW/ACT, was an active and collegiate member of our ‘peaks’ community; over the past five years we have together worked to build up an authorising environment for positive social policy, best practise in mission-inspired service and be a part of a Catholic community committed to justice and compassion.
He passed away last week, due to a serious health issue after two years of medical treatment. Despite the circumstances he was facing, he has remained an active participant in meetings and the enactment of broader strategy and engagement within our social services community.
His contributions are valued, and he will be missed.

St Peter’s Catholic Church Hall,
Devonshire St, Surry Hills
Sydney.
