Over the last few months, the Mercy Action and Spirituality Hub in North Carlton has offered free art and drawing classes. Facilitated by local artist, Phil Kreveld, the weekly art classes have provided a space for community engagement and to learn skills in pencil and watercolour painting.
The classes are open to all in the community, with The Mercy Hub embedding inclusiveness and resourcefulness to participants from diverse backgrounds.
The Mercy Hub thanks the Community Bendigo Bank for their financial support in the program. Art classes will resume once COVID restrictions ease.
Classes run on Wednesdays 2pm-4pm at 617 Nicholson Street in Carlton North, Victoria.
