Cultivating connection to nature for refugees and asylum seekers

Cultivating a connection to nature can have a huge impact on human health and well-being.

Commencing on Wednesday 2nd June, Kevin Heinze Grow will be running free weekly gardening sessions at the Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre, 212 Sydney Road, Brunswick for all refugees and people seeking asylum. The gardening sessions will be held each week from 1pm-3.30pm.

This will not only offer the opportunity to socially connect with others, but will support you as you enhance your gardening skills, gain knowledge of organic produce, and build your resilience and confidence. No prior gardening experience is needed!
