Following on from Homelessness Week 2023, CSSV has released a discussion paper that focuses on some key recommendations that have come about as we research and consult with our 42 member social and community organisations regarding core concerns around homelessness and housing.
Many across the Catholic community sector and beyond are hopeful that we can address this crisis more creatively and holistically. In spite of all that is being done by organisations and their staff and volunteers, it is a desperate time for many.
As Homelessness Week ends, it is important that we keep up a local and national discourse on the holistic needs of people – especially in regards to the importance of a safe and secure home.
