For over 900 years the Order of Malta has served Our Lords the Poor and Sick, and the Australian Association continues this tradition. Their charitable activities in the region support for the homeless and disadvantaged, palliative care and medical facilities, services for the sick and disabled and emergency aid in times of crisis.
The mission of the Order and its auxiliary organisations is to alleviate the suffering of the poor and sick, without judgment, distinction of religion, race or political persuasion.
The Australian Association of the Order of Malta also has ongoing and strong links with the Order’s National Associations throughout the Asia Pacific Region including in Singapore and the Philippines and with members of the Order in New Zealand, Hong Kong SAR, Thailand and Korea.
