St Joseph’s Home for the Aged, administered by the Little Sisters of the Poor, provides residential care for elderly people striving to meet their physical needs, to make them happy and comfortable, and to minister to them spiritually.
The 50-bed home was renovated in 2015, providing larger rooms with facilities to implement Ageing in Place. St Joseph’s has a Chapel offering daily Mass and reflection, a physio room, a large auditorium and a self-contained function centre. They also have a community-run library, coffee shop and general store.
Little Sisters of the Poor provides aged care to those who are low-income. All rooms are priced the same for residents who are not eligible for a Government subsidy.
Our Mission is to offer the neediest elderly of every race and religion a home where they will be welcomed as Christ, cared for as family and accompanied with dignity until God calls them to himself.
