Assisi Aged Care was founded in 1992 as an initiative of leaders within Melbourne’s Italian community who recognised a need to set up specialist aged care services to support Melbourne’s fast-growing elderly Italian population. It was established as a not-for-profit religious and charitable organisation for Melbourne’s elderly Italian population. Assisi Aged Care now has a capacity of 150 beds.
