In an era characterised by unpredictability and instability, the recent Catholic Connect workshop provided a crucial space for around 80 leaders within the Catholic community to engage with the essential theme of Leading with Hope in Uncertain Times. This collaborative initiative between CSSV and the Catholic Development Fund, featured the insightful perspectives of three distinguished female leaders—Commissioner Micaela Cronin; Sr Joan Healy RSJ AM and Annie Carrett.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Fr Kevin Mogg AM pe has died. Fr Kevin Mogg AM had spent over five decades as a leader in Catholic Social Services. He was an inspiring parish leader for over six decades, an educator, and a prison and youth justice chaplain. For 24 years he also served on the Board of CatholicCare where he continued to serve as Emeritus Board member.

The national Catholic Social Services conference, Serving Communities with Courage and Compassion, was held from 26-28 February 2020 at the Catholic Leadership Centre, 576 Victoria Parade, in East Melbourne.
